There is absolutely no question at all just how much Charlene and Michael adore each other. You just couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces the entire length of the day!

I arrived to find my incredibly talented wife Michelle, putting the finishing touches on Charlene’s stunning hair and makeup and the bridesmaids  keeping themselves amused with a rather loud and competitive game of cards!

And we all love an emotional groom, right? Michael’s tears as Charlene walked down the isle were magic and it’s really awesome to witness and capture the raw emotions, on a wedding day! It’s why I still love shooting weddings after all these years!

The somewhat chilly wedding was held at the beautiful Bendooley Estate and was a miracle that it even happened outside in the gardens after the initial weather forecast threatened to push it into ‘plan B’. But someone was looking out for these two because despite the gloomy forecast, not only was the ceremony held in the gardens, we had beautiful soft light all afternoon and even got a cracking sunset! Because the weather has been a little warmer well into May this year, Bendooley’s homestead is still covered in the richness of the red autumn leaves which is such a magical backdrop and made me a very happy photographer! 🙂

Being a chilly day, and making use of the perfectly manicured grounds of the Estate, off we went to grab some beautiful candid shots after the ceremony  of this adorable couple around the property. Having known Bendooley well, I never have couples out for too long because I’d rather them get cosy in front of that awesome fire place inside  and have fun with their friends and family!

A huge credit to Charlene and Michael for planning a pretty spectacular wedding day- everything came together just perfectly and by the smiles on their faces, I know they had a pretty amazing time!

Thanks so much Charlene and Michael for having both Michelle and I there to be part of your day!
