A hot sunny day in March sets the scene for Sarah & Rhys’s wedding day. A traditional church ceremony was held at St Aidans Exeter, in the Southern Highlands with the reception being held in the barn at Sarah’s parents’ private property at Penrose.
Sarah is such a beautiful soul, and her emotions through the day translated so beautifully on camera. Sarah and Rhys were a joy to be around and I love the golden moments in the field at the property towards the end of the day.
The couple exuded elegance with a classic yet modern vintage style and this was reflected everywhere I turned! Michelle did an incredible job with Sarah’s makeup which lasted through the heat and many tears! Sarah, a dedicated vet, also loves to bake and has a true knack for it, baking their own wedding cake and licking the knife clean after it was cut! 🙂
So many candid moments captured, and one of my favourites is Sarah having to duck past the church windows so she wasn’t seen by her waiting groom 🙂 And the newlyweds dancing the night away with Sarah’s dress floating in the air- magic!
Thanks so much for having both Michelle and I there for the day! We loved every minute!
