Mali Brae Farm, Southern Highlands

Southern Highlands Wedding Photographer

Mali brae Farm is honestly one of the nicest places I’ll ever go to in the Southern Highlands as a wedding photographer.

It’s like being in the middle of nowhere – in a good way! It’s a private family run farm that my couples get exclusive access of during their wedding and the owners Greg & Shelly are truly 2 of the loveliest people you’ll ever come across in wedding circles.

Michelle and I have been fortunate enough to build a wonderful friendship with them, just from having vistied so many times! We were humbled when their lovely daughter, Amelia, had us both there for her wedding in early 2020. Whenever we go there it’s honestly like seeing old friends.

Mali Brae is a photographers dream. The property is quite enormous and there are an incredible amount of locations to shoot at giving you huge flexibility on the day of a wedding depending what the light is like.

There are lakes, trees, open fields, sheds, old cars, old ruins, old walls – you name it, it has it. And the sunsets you get here are incredible. Greg will often scoot us out to the best sunset vantage points in his 4wd so brides, don’t worry, you don’t have to walk the property in heels or be away from your guests for too long!

The reception is beautifully lit, the bar & catering make it a hit with everyone, especially their shared platter and wood fire pizza options! A truly stunning venue and a real privilege to shoot weddings here.
