I was in NZ recently to shoot Belinda & Hamish’s wedding which will be up on the site shortly 🙂
In the meantime here are a quick few snaps I took whilst there with a day or two to spare! Most of these shots were taken on an epic unplanned 22km hike around the Mount Cook National Park. The place is just stunning!
I’d love to go back for a few weeks and really put some effort into doing landscapes. As cool as these look they weren’t planned – would love to do a stack of sunrises and sunsets!
Loosely speaking, the photos start in the Arthurs Pass area where it was very cloudy & foggy, then the drive from there to Mount Cook, via Lake Tekapo. The final shot of the church with the stars is “The Church of the Good Shepherd” the night before the wedding.
The really wider panoramic shots I’m dying to print – these are “stitches” from the 51mp medium format camera, and the size of these files are typically 140-250 megapixels.
